This 2-hour event will be for feminist civil society, following up on a feminist briefing and strategy meeting conducted in Nairobi prior to the UN Civil Society Conference alongside the Women’s Major Group and Akina Mama wa Afrika. The session’s main purpose is to share updated information on the process, before the SOTF in September, so feminists can better plan their advocacy and engagement, especially for those attending SOTF and then following up with their advocacy at the national level. In the session, feminist advocates who have been closely following the SOTF political process will share info on the Summit itself, the Pact of the Future, the Global Digital Compact, and the Declaration for Future Generations from different points of entry.
